My fitness journey began shortly after I got married, when I took a photo at church and noticed that I was "skinny fat." My swollen cheeks and belly showed me that I had let the newlywed weight get to me. I've always been relatively fit and played basketball when I was younger, but never did any weight training. A personal trainer who attended my church gave me my first workout and nutrition plan. I followed it to a tee and never looked back.
Through that experience, I discovered my love of fitness. Although I already had a lucrative auto detailing business, one day I walked into my local gym and asked for a job. I quit my business to study for my certification, and I've been working in the fitness industry ever since.
Over the past 12 years, my passion for fitness has taken me to places beyond my wildest imagination. Aside from training celebrity clients and mentoring other trainers, I have also worked as a fitness model and have had success as an MPC physique competitor.
What drives my passion for fitness is to see people overcome their doubts. It's a rewarding process to see people go from not believing they can reach their goals to gaining confidence as they realize that they can make it happen. With my motto, "Don't Complain ... Just Train!'" I've been blessed to empower people to overcome their fears and intimation about fitness. I've also helped athletes get to their next level by amplifying their natural abilities with increased strength, speed and mental fortitude.
Whether it's a stay at home mom, a pro-golfer, or a former athlete looking to get back in shape, I want to see everyone be the best of who they are and reach their goals. Doing that has completely changed the course of my life, and I believe it will do the same for you.
As a client of Kevin for around 8 months, I have gotten to know Kevin pretty well. I am a college athlete and prior to working with Kevin, I was looking for a trainer who would give me a challenging workout and improve my tennis game; Kevin has successfully done that, and more!
Kevin has impacted me in a multitude of ways: both physically and mentally. He is notably one of the most hardworking trainers I have ever met and has pushed me to limits I never thought possible. He has proved to me that I am stronger than I think I am and that I should have faith in the training process. Kevin has never been late for a session and never came to work half-heartedly, he has always been there to give me the best workout possible. His positive demeanor and attitude every day were inspiring and taught me to be more positive and confident in myself.
I can confidently say that Kevin’s training sessions are the hardest workouts I have ever been put through in my life. Yes, in my 11 years of tennis training, I have never been put through a harder gym workout. Kevin has gotten me to becoming the strongest I have ever been in my life, both mentally and physically. I cannot thank Kevin enough for believing in me, and for teaching me how to believe in myself!
I had the privilege of getting to work out with Kevin Morris, and so loved the experience, that I had him work with my 18 year old daughter and referred two other friends to him.
Kevin is unlike any trainer I have ever had. He is creative, energetic, inspiring, and always able to motivate me even when I don’t seem to be in the mood to be motivated! He never does the same workout twice, and unlike other trainers who get lost in their phone, or are thinking of other things, he is always fully engaged, trying his best to help ME be MY best.
Kevin has a unique way about him that also always makes me want to work harder and do more….it is not that he gets down on me, but he just has a way of making me feel really good about myself, and helps me work in a manner where I truly can see my own progress.
My daughter had put a lot of weight on during her first year of college. That summer, she began working out with Kevin and not only did he help her transform her body, he helped her WANT to work out by herself, and adopt healthy habits. Two years later, she still exercises on her own all the time, makes healthy choices, and attributes her success to Kevin Morris!
